RITA BARKER

Rita has been teaching and performing Egyptian dance for a number of years. She trained with leading exponent of Egyptian dance in England, Suraya Hilal, both as a teacher and as a performer.

Nowadays she has begun to develop her own style, and runs her own Egyptian dance company as well as a flourishing centre of excellence in dance and percussion.

Rita is also trained in other forms of dance, including Ballet, Tap and Jazz; she holds a BA in Arts Practice and Cultural Policy and a HND in Dance. Rita is also a member the Pilates Institute, London.
