Angela (Moe) is a member and featured
dancer in the West Michigan School of Middle Eastern Dance, in Kalamazoo,
Michigan, under the direction of Joette Sawall.
She is also Assistant
Artistic Director for the school in charge of a sister branch she and Joette are co-founding for 2006 – TribalCorps. TribalCorps will focus on
innovative choreography, blending tribal combinations with classic and
folkloric moves of the Middle East.
Angela has received additional
instruction from Farida Fahmy, Jasmin Jahal, Aida al-Adawi, Dalia Carella,
FatChanceBellyDance, Jill Parker/Ultra Gypsy, Zafira Dance Co., Kaeshi
Chai, Shawna (Little Rock); Ruby Jazayre (South Bend, IN); and Yasmina
Ramzy (Toronto).
